Eighties rock music returns to Springfield, MA for “Rock the Arena – Springfield” featuring Bret Michaels, with Lita Ford, Warrant, RATT, and Trixter playing on Saturday, June 18 at the MassMutual Center.

Eighties rock music returns to Springfield, MA for “Rock the Arena – Springfield” featuring Bret Michaels, with Lita Ford, Warrant, RATT, and Trixter playing on Saturday, June 18 at the MassMutual Center. 

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 25 at 10 A.M. at, the MassMutual box office and charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Bret Michaels is a multiplatinum global superstar who has turned his passion for music into a multi-faceted brand that encompasses record breaking touring sales as lead singer for the American rock band, Poison, and a solo artist; Reality TV stardom, legendary songs that have sold over 32 million records, product endorsements as well as being a devoted philanthropist, all supported and followed by three generations of loyal fans.

Lita Ford is a British rocker who is considered one of the most important female representatives of the rock genre. She was a founding member of the Runaways, one of the first girl groups who unexpectedly broke down barriers in the punk era as well as the male-dominated world of rock music, causing a stir with their six rebellious releases.

Following the demise of the Runaways, LITA FORD concentrated on her own career and now looks back on many memorable hits including: the chart topping duet with Ozzy Osbourne ́Close Your Eyes Forever`, ́What Do You Know About Love`, ́Shot Of Poison`, ́Larger Than Life` and ́Kiss Me Deadly. Warrant is an American glam metal] band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, California, that experienced success from 1989 to 1996 with five albums reaching international sales of over 10 million. The band first came into the national spotlight with their Double Platinum debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, and one of its singles, "Heaven," reached No. 1 in Rolling Stone and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. RATT is an American heavy metal band that had significant commercial success in the 1980s, with their albums having been certified as gold, platinum, and multi-platinum by the RIAA. The group is perhaps best known for hit singles such as "Round and Round" and "Lay It Down", tracks that ranked on Billboard's top 40 at No. 12 and No. 40, respectively, as well as other songs such as "Wanted Man", "You're in Love" and "Dance". Along with groups such as friendly rivals Mötley Crüe, RATT has been recognized as instrumental in the formation of the early 1980s Los Angeles glam metal scene, also known as "hair metal" or "pop metal". Trixter are an American hard rock band who in 1989 went to Hollywood to record their debut album with producer Bill Wray. Songs from the 1988 recording session including "Ride the Whip" and "Only Young Once" made it to the new album. Trixter was released in May 1990 with the song "Line of Fire" as the single for rock radio. The song slowly climbed the charts, reaching No. 1 on Z-Rocks Top 100 by July 1990. Along with the release of the album, Trixter also filmed their first video for the song "Give It to Me Good" (Wikipedia)
