Commencement Details
- Due to capacity restrictions, only graduates’ two e-ticketed guests will be admitted to attend per graduate. This will be strictly enforced on site.
- Please share the URL of this webpage or this link with other family and friends so they can tune into the live stream of each event http://www.westfield.ma.edu/commencement/live on May 13 or 14, 2021.
- Graduates and guests may enter the building one hour prior to their designated ceremony.
- To reduce the person-to-person contact, all events will utilize mobile ticketing only. Please download your tickets to your phone prior to arriving to the MassMutual Center. Click here to login to your account to access your mobile tickets. Do not print your mobile ticket.
- Make sure your guests have their mobile tickets on their phones! Click here to learn how to transfer tickets.
- Please have your mobile ticket ready to be scanned on your phone and accessible as you await your entrance onto the MassMutual Center.
- Graduates will enter via the front entrance of the venue at the corner of Main Street and Bruce Landon Way.
- Guests will enter via the Main Lobby Entrance (ticket office) on Bruce Landon Way.
- Adhere to social distancing (remain 6 feet apart) as much as possible.
- Masks are required at all times within the facility.
- Do not attend the event if you or someone close to you is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive in the past 14 days.
- We have been informed by Oak Hall, the vendor used for Westfield State online cap and gown orders, that the outstanding Westfield State orders shipped on Friday, May 7 ( per 2-day air delivery). Students with remaining concerns about their orders should call the bookstore at 413.579.3105 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note that cap and gown sets will be available for purchase at the event. If you cap and gown order does not arrive in advance of your designated ceremony, plan on purchasing a set at the ceremony and returning the set eventually received from Oak Hall (vendor fulfilling the online order).
- No bags are allowed.
- No balloons.
- No outside food or beverage are allowed.
- In addition to the parking garage, parking is available at several lots around the MassMutual Center. The parking garage does not accept credit cards.
- All guidelines are subject to change based on the CDC, federal, state, local and venue-specific guidance. We will communicate any changes to you as soon as they are confirmed. We appreciate your understanding of the flexibility this will require. We look forward to creating a safe & memorable experience for graduates and guests.
