ABOUT LAWN PARTY @ THE LANDING
The Landing is bringing live music outdoors this summer with Lawn Party @ The Landing presented by Lia Honda Enfield, a free weekly concert series in downtown Springfield.
Running every Thursday from June through August from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM, the series will feature live performances from top regional bands spanning country, reggae, salsa, funk, soul, bluegrass, 90s throwbacks, and more. Guests can enjoy food trucks, lawn games, and a laid-back summer atmosphere at Springfield’s newest outdoor gathering space.
Located next to the new convention center carpark, The Landing was designed for concerts, festivals, markets, and community events in the heart of downtown.
About Ethel Lee & The Eric Bascom Quintet
Ethel Lee and the Eric Bascom Quintet have been successfully performing throughout the Greater New England Region and the Northeast for many years. From concerts appearances, music and art festivals, to a wide variety of clubs dates and private social engagements, they bring a rich quality of music to each performance. Ethel Lee, vocalist: Ethel, also known as “Springfield’s First Woman of Song”, enjoys her wellearned reputation for pleasing audiences of all ages. Her youthful, timeless voice and her unique approach to each song brings originality, feeling and depth to each performance. Whether the music is jazz, Motown, blues, a popular song, or a standard from the Great American Song Book and Beyond, Ethel Lee’s interpretation makes each song her own. Eric Bascom, band leader, guitarist and vocalist: Eric is a well known fixture in the Pioneer Valley and the Greater New England Region. Best known for both his solo and small group ensemble work, Eric covers a wide range of musical styles. From jazz and blues, to popular songs and standards from the Great American Song Book and Beyond, along with his own original compositions. In his small group ensembles, Eric brings together a wide range of the area’s most talented instrumental soloists and musicians for each of his projects. Together for the appearance at The Landing, the personnel is Ethel Lee, vocals; Eric Bascom, band leader, guitar and vocals; Ed Brainerd, trumpet, flugelhorn and horn arrangements; Mark Barowsky, tenor saxophone; Tido Holtkamp, drums; and Wayne Roberts, double bass.

- Signs, Flags, or Banners exceeding 11” x 17” or attached to a pole/stick. Signs must be relevant to event. Signs may not contain or display obscene or offensive language and/or pictures as determined by MassMutual Center Management. Management reserves the right to prohibit or remove a sign or banner at any time.
