Boys & Girls Club of Springfield officially opens 21st Annual Festival of Trees at the MassMutual Center!

 

SPRINGFIELD – The official opening of the 21st Annual Festival of Trees will take place on November 26th at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield. The Festival of Trees will open with FREE ADMISSION to the general public until 8:00PM, on opening day. Lit with over 100 decorated trees, the convention room has never looked so festive. The Springfield Boys and Girls Club’s Festival of Trees is known to be the original Festival of Trees in the greater Springfield area.

 

Visitors to the Festival of Trees are invited and encouraged to purchase raffle tickets for chances to win the trees, and all gifts associated with the tree. All trees will be raffled off at the end of the Festival on December 12th. Winners will be notified by phone to pick up their tree on Monday, Dec. 13th. Additionally, a special 50/50 raffle is also available for those who want to provide further support to the youth of the Boys and Girls Clubs, with last year’s winner claiming, prior to taxes, over $10,000. Proceeds from the Festival of Trees benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield, which serves more than 1,740 Springfield youth each year in areas such as athletics, academics, STEM, career readiness, health and nutrition, and leadership.

 

Once the Festival opens on Nov. 26th, hours are Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursdays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General Admission is $5; the cost for Seniors is $4, and children 12 and under are free.  Military personnel, first responders and their families are free with ID. New to the festival, admission tickets can be pre-purchased at the MassMutual Center website. The Festival of Trees will be following COVID-19 guidelines as set forth by MassMutual Center.
