FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | 2024 NCAA DI Men’s Ice Hockey Regional Game Dates and On Sale Date Announced
SPRINGFIELD, MA (November 20, 2023) - MassMutual Center, American International College, and the University of Massachusetts announce the game dates for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) DI Men’s Ice Hockey Regional. The games will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. All three games will be televised on ESPNU or ESPNEWS. Teams participating in the tournament will be determined in March.
“It’s an honor to host the NCAA DI Men’s Ice Hockey Regional in Western Massachusetts in partnership with the University of Massachusetts, and American International College,” states Sean Dolan, General Manager of the MassMutual Center. “Not only does Western Massachusetts have a strong hockey history, but the University of Massachusetts, and American International College both have excellent hockey programs. We are looking forward to hosting a successful tournament as well as the opportunity to showcase the City of Springfield and the surrounding communities.”

The two-day regional will feature four teams competing in two first round games on Thursday, with the winners advancing to the regional final on Saturday. The winner of the regional final will advance to the 2024 Men’s Frozen Four, which will be held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The collaboration with American International College and MassMutual Center has been incredible; there are a lot of good people working hard to make this experience great for the selected teams and fans,” states Jeff Smith, Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations, University of Massachusetts.

All-session tickets for the games will go on sale to the public on Monday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m., with early access beginning on Monday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. Single session tickets will go on sale at a later date.
