The MassMutual Center is proud to announce that longtime usher Debbie Little has been named a finalist for the 29th Annual Howdy Awards, presented by Explore Western Mass (GSCVB). The Howdy Awards was established by Explore Western Mass in 1996 to recognize front-line employees all across the hospitality industry. 

For over 14 years, Debbie has been a familiar and welcoming presence at the MassMutual Center, working for hundreds of events across both the arena and convention center. Known for her dedication, professionalism, and friendly spirit, she consistently goes above and beyond to create a positive experience for every guest. This marks Debbie’s second year earning a nomination an achievement that highlights her ongoing commitment to excellence in guest service.

As our Director of Events, Sabrina Brizzolari, shared, “Debbie is often the very first smile our guests see. Her warm ‘Hello and welcome’ sets the tone for every visit, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make people feel taken care of, whether that’s answering questions about an event, recommending places around Springfield, or simply being a calming, friendly presence.”

“She’s someone our team can always count on, stepping in when needed, handling challenges with grace, and supporting both guests and fellow staff with compassion and professionalism.”

Debbie is among dozens of standout hospitality professionals nominated for the Howdy People’s Choice Award across the valley. The finalists will be honored at the annual Howdy Awards ceremony on April 27, held here at the MassMutual Center.
